The story of Satorisan began in 2010, founded in Valencia, Spain, by Alejandro Monzó Tadeo—a veteran of the sneaker industry with over two decades of deep experience. Driven by a profound understanding of footwear craftsmanship and an unwavering commitment to excellence, he harbored a simple yet sincere desire: to create a wearing experience that truly "makes people feel good." Guided by this founding vision, Satorisan set out from Valencia on a journey of exploration—one dedicated to comfort, quality, and soul.

The brand name, Satorisan, is derived from the *Satori* (Japanese: "悟り")—a supernatural spirit beast found in ancient legends. This ape-like creature is said to encounter travelers on their journeys, listening to the whispers of their hearts and helping them discover their inner souls and true selves. This philosophy is deeply embedded in Satorisan’s brand ethos. It is from this very premise that Satorisan views every step taken as a spiritual journey.


II. Rooted in Spain: Flagship Stores and Community Spaces

In 2016, Satorisan opened its first flagship store at 25 Calle Sorní in Valencia, housed within a renovated modernist building and presented under the concept of "Satori Home." Far more than just a retail outlet, this space functions as a community hub that seamlessly blends home living, shopping, and leisure. By regularly hosting exhibitions and community events, it transforms the brand's spirit—"walk with heart, live with heart"—into a tangible reality. Building upon this foundation, Satorisan subsequently established a flagship store in Madrid, further solidifying its roots within its native Spain.


III. From Valencia to the World

Upholding four core values—Quality, Comfort, Uniqueness, and Approachability—Satorisan has steadily advanced its global expansion strategy. The brand's footprint now extends beyond European nations such as Spain, Italy, Germany, and Austria, reaching as far as the United States, Japan, South Korea, and Israel. Across 15 global markets, Satorisan products are now available in over 500 multi-brand retail locations. Since its inception, Satorisan has sold a cumulative total of over 1.6 million pairs of shoes, with its products reaching customers in more than 100 countries and regions worldwide. IV.
